The Pastoral Care Board is devoted to the development, coordination and operation of programs that provide care and spiritual support for members of the GCC congregation and the community.

The Board supports the work of the Parish Nurse by coordinating the activities of the “We Care” program, which provides transportation and meals to church members, and the “Privileged Visitor” program, which encourages member interaction and support.

The Board is responsible for the delivery of weekly altar flowers and holiday poinsettias and lilies to homebound members. Pastoral Care members assist with 60+ Club luncheons and host memorial receptions.

Pastoral Care also coordinates outreach programs to the community through the annual Blood Drive, Senior Housing Fair, and Flu Shot distribution.
